In February of 2023, I broke up with my girlfriend.

This study points to Ashwagandha supplementation decreasing cortisol levels, also known as the stress hormone. Additionally, This study reports lower levels of self-reported anxiety in the Ashwagandha supplementation group. The hypothesized pathway is that Ashwagandha decreases activity in the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal(HPA) axis in the brain, thus decreasing the amount of adrenaline pumped into your bloodstream, decreasing levels of cortisol and stress.
